Our efficient, mobile, hybrid energy solutions minimize the costs of the transport and deployment of conventional fossil fuel to life critical and emergency applications.
Our systems offer both Photovoltaic (PV) and Concentrated Photovoltaic (CPV) solar solutions which are sustainable green technologies utilizing the sun as a renewable source of power . Different solar technologies are suited for different applications and operating environments. The key is to select the right alternative energy system technology and partner for an appropriate application. SacTec Solar’s alternative energy solutions provide cost effective, sustainable energy for remote and life critical environments as well as emergency applications.

As a technology, silicon based PV solar panels are readily available, but only have a 20% energy efficiency rate. PV technology is cost effective in the deployment of SacTec Solar’s low to medium power centers with a 10KW/hr requirement. With requirements of 20KW/hr or more, the SacTec Solar CPV technology systems are deployed. A CPV technology system converts sunlight energy to electrical energy in a similar method to PV technology but utilizes high efficiency optical cells rather than “macro” silicon cells . As a result, the system can provide modules with over 40% higher efficiency levels than conventional PV technology. Additionally, CPV technology systems do not degrade at higher temperatures as do silicon based PV systems which can lose 20% or more efficiency at higher temperatures. CPV technology also tracks the sun throughout the day allowing for greater energy production.
SacTec Solar’s CPV solution integrates high efficiency triple junction solar cells with advanced focusing optics to provide high energy yields greater than conventional photovoltaic systems per panel dimension . Our fully integrated Macro Solar solutions consists of dual solar power panels, a multi-axis tracking unit, energy storage, and conversion systems adaptable to either off-grid or on-grid applications. The system’s power unit is integrated onto a ruggedized panel design to withstand rigorous performance and safety standards. This design has been optimized for high reliability and field durability . All of our system designs are integrated with a precision tracking control system which maintains a high energy output throughout the day. All these combined features provide a more efficient and cost effective alternative energy technology and solution.
